The Pouf-02 is handwoven with indigenous pandan leaves. This 100% natural material is grown, dried, and woven locally. The creation of each piece is a long process starting from growing the pandan leaves, to harvest and cleaning, drying and preparing for each individual piece to be woven by hand. The interior of the pouf is also stuffed with dried pandan scraps making this piece truly natural and sustainably made.

Imprints of prehistoric mat weaving in the Philippines have been found on pottery and iron artifacts. Today these traditional techniques are preserved in the meticulous weaving and plaiting of natural leaves and grasses used for mats and baskets and the Dalisay Collection Poufs.

Care

Sustainably sourced and endemic to the Phillippines, natural pandan leaves were made to be used and loved indoors or outdoors. Our Pouf-02 can adapt for indoor or outdoor living. Just be sure to store it indoors or keep it dry and covered when not actively being used outdoors.
