Made from all natural, biodegradable cotton, the plush, custom designed Pillow-01 covers are made from handwoven fabric by expert weavers- no electric machines or mass production involved.

We partner with weavers through HABI: The Philippines Textile Council to preserve and promote Philippine textiles - supporting skilled weavers and local cotton farmers alike. 

From picking and preparing cotton, to warping, winding, and arranging threads, the weaving process is long and painstaking. This art and skill is passed down from generation to generation, though sadly, fewer younger generations are still interested to learn.

Many others however, recognize that weaving is more than just a tradition, it is a ritual. Each Pillow-01 supports the preservation of the history and livelihood for many women and indigenous communities.
