1. Plan Ahead

It can be so easy to get overwhelmed with the latest trends, sales of holiday decor items, and your ever-growing collection of baubles. Save yourself from impulse shoppingand plan ahead. Decide on your theme, color scheme, and then set a budget. This way, you get to save time, narrow down your options for decorating, and really enjoy styling your space.

2. Shop Sustainably

Invest well in high quality pieces. Instead of buying a trendy piece, choose timeless holiday decor that will last and you can use and love over and over again. Choose simple but sustainable pieces that can be used not just for the holidays but for other occasions as well.

3. Add an Artisanal Touch by Buying Local

There’s nothing like small-batch artisanal pieces to elevate your space. The craftsmanship and the uniqueness of each piece adds thoughtfulness and authenticity to your holiday space.

4. Add Meaning to your Space

Personalize your space by incorporating sentimental pieces like photos from past Christmas memories or heirlooms that can be passed down from generation to generation. It helps create an atmosphere of connection when pieces used carry memories with them. By using meaningful pieces, you’re able to not just personalize your space but also create a memorable holiday experience for you and your family.

5. Go Out of your Comfort Zone

Have you been using neutrals for as long as you can remember? Spruce it up a bit by going out of your comfort zone. We’re not saying use all bright neon colors but try incorporating more color into your space - maybe even mix and match decor and try using some non-traditional pieces in your space. You’ll be surprised at how these small things can have a big impact on your space.

6. Synchronize your Space

Create several spaces in your home with holiday vignettes to make it more inviting.
